The Desert Aire Owners Association organizes special community events such as the annual Polar Bear Plunge, the Airport Fly-in Breakfast, 4th of July fireworks in the park, Cozy Comforts Christmas Bazaar, golf and tennis tournaments, and others. Visit special events for a complete list.

The Sagebrush Senior Citizen’s Center is open daily year-round. Hours vary according to activities, which are many and varied! Persons aged 50 and older are welcome to come and enjoy the active social life and activities of the Center that include card playing, mahjong and other games, crafting, exercise classes, and other regular social / cultural events. Bingo! games are held every Tuesday night at 7PM. Monthly dinner potlucks are held on the second Thursday of the month.
Rentable Hall with Kitchen. The Center may be rented for special occasions. Capacity is 250 persons, and there is a full-service kitchen with large refrigerator. Contact Vicky Rahm at (253) 508-3769 for more information on rental contracts and terms.
First Responders
Desert Aire is served by Grant County Fire Protection District #8, who are typically on scene in less than 15 minutes from the emergency being paged. They have a volunteer satellite station in Desert Aire. Dial 911 if you need emergency assistance and please be sure to give the operator your area code.
